FIND YOUR NATION HERE
ECM is active in 25 nations in Europe with a variety of ministries, and we are praying to see new mission fields opening in 3 more nations.
Also, we have offices in 4 countries outside of Europe.
Maybe God is calling you to one of these nations, or to be part of His mission by supporting a missionary or a ministry there. Dive in!
ECM is currently active in the southern province of Carinthia, and in the cities of Vienna, Linz and Dornbirn. Our emphasis lies in equipping leaders in order to help churches become autonomous, helping churches to reach out into their community and in youth work.
Belgium needs the Gospel. ECM wants to be involved in Belgium by helping to build loving communities, which transcend the message of the Gospel to the many people who don't live with God. A beautiful example of such a community is the Arabic Church in Brussels.
In the midst of the mainly Islamic population, the Christian testimony is barely heard in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There is an active church plant in Novi Travnik, and both radio and television programs, that are reaching a large target group with God's message of hope.
Bulgaria needs whole-life discipleship, faithful mature believers who can disciple others. ECM is currently working in both Sofia and Burgas, with ministries including pastor training, refugee ministry, whole-life discipleship, Roma ministry, teaching and human trafficking prevention.
ECM is active in Lapland, the northernmost region of Finland. At the moment, we are involved in children's and youth work, Bible translation work and literacy projects, and work among the elderly and immigrants. There is a special focus on the indigenous Saami people.

In eastern Germany, the Christian faith is reduced to the margins of society and many people don't know what the Gospel is all about. ECM works with several teams, particularly in the eastern German province of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, in Berlin, and in the southwest of the country.
ECM is working in Budapest, home to one quarter of the country's population and its main center of influence. There, ECM's church plant has the vision of reaching students and other young professionals who have not connected to traditional Hungarian churches.
ECM is working in Ferrybank (Waterford), Claremorris (Mayo) and Skibbereen (Cork). Ireland today is increasingly becoming post-Catholic and secular. We are working with God to see biblically based and culturally relevant churches established in Ireland.
ECM is working to plant loving communities in Lamezia, Trento, and Milan. As well as planting churches through personal contacts and relationships, the mission is also actively using other media, for example art and Internet, to get people interested in the gospel.

ECM operates in Slovenia with the Upanje foundation, which runs a Christian bookstore. It also works in church planting in Radovljica, Murska Sobota, Maribor and Ljubljana. The Netherlands has a great interest in Slovenia and has developed a very active prayer base for the country.
ECM works in many places in Spain, especially in Andalusia, Valencia, Madrid, Catalonia, Galicia and in the Basque Country. ECMers are active in are church planting projects and social outreach programs, as well as theological and missiological trainings, and church development initiatives.
ECM is largely focusing on sending people from Great Britain rather than in church planting there. Currently there is only one couple involved in outreach in England, though some workers help to train missionaries through All Nations Christian College. In the coming years we hope to expand the number of church planting projects as God opens doors of opportunity.
LOOKING INTO THE FUTURE
In addition to the countries above, ECM is prayerfully considering opening new mission fields in the following nations:
Despite Iceland's reputation as a paradise of rugged natural beauty and socioeconomic stability, with one of the world's highest living standards, Icelandic people however are in need of the true riches that come through an encounter with Jesus Christ. ECM would like the opportunity to start work in Iceland, to equip, connect and multiply followers of Jesus there.
A rich agricultural land with unfulfilled potential, Moldova is among Europe's poorest nations due to persistant and unresolved political problems, lack of industry and trade, economic dependence on Russia and lingering effects of communism. But overall, Moldova needs the light of Jesus to shine on the country. Would you like to serve with ECM in Moldova?
Slovakia has a strong Christian heritage, but the many Catholic, Lutheran, and Reformed Churches struggle with low attendance. Pray that the Holy Spirit would bring new life to the foundation of Christianity in Slovakia, and for the right opportunity to open for ECM to start a new mission field there.
Although Europe is our mission field, ECM also has four mobilisation offices outside of Europe:
ECM has a small sending office in New Zealand, which supports people who feel called to share the Gospel in Europe. Many Christans in New Zealand are of European descent, and they have a deep concern for Europe and want the message of the Gospel to be heard throughout the European continent.
The ECM office in Australia is working with a dedicated team of office staff, Council members and volunteers for the selection, sending and support of missionaries. In addition, the office mobilizes Christians in Australia to help build a different Europe, through prayer and financial support.
ECM has a sending office in Brazil. This office supports people who want to go to Europe to spread the Gospel, because Brazil too has a passion for Europe and wants the message of the Gospel to be heard throughout all of the European continent.
The ECMI-USA office in America is working to recruit, deploy, and support missionaries and projects. In addition, the office promotes prayer and partnerships to help build a transformed Europe through the name of Jesus Christ.
