"Two years ago I came here and I was a sinner. Last year I came to know the love of Jesus and I have been learning about Him. This year I am a new person."

Let me tell you the story of M., a young camper. Two years ago, at the age of 13, he came for the first time as a camper to the Sports de L'Arcada camp. There he heard the gospel for the first time and was very impacted by the love he received from the coaches, monitors and the rest of the team. Last year he came to the camp again, and on the last night he gave his life to Jesus and decided to follow Him. He returned home with a Bible in his hand and a great desire to know more of Jesus, but at home he is the only Christian and does not know of any church in the area where he lives. During this last year, an American coach and several of us from the team have kept in contact with him to help him as much as we could, but because of the distance it has been complicated, since he lives very far away.

This year he came to the camp again, and Jesus had transformed his life! He had been reading the Bible by himself and praying for a year, and during the camp he became the biggest evangelist of all! At only 15 years old, M. couldn't stop talking about Jesus to anyone he met, and challenging them to open the Bible and find out for themselves. What a blast!

One day we were talking about Jesus in front of about 50 people, and I asked him to share his testimony. He simply said this: "Two years ago I came here and I was a sinner. Last year I came to know the love of Jesus and I have been learning from Him. This year I am a new person."

This summer, and at only 15 years old, M. led several people to Jesus, and his testimony has been impactful for many of us on the team as well.

It is because of kids like M. that we invest so much time and effort in summer camps each year. This year we have spent 1 whole month at L'Arcada, coordinating the team of monitors.

Thank you for partnering with us in prayer every step of the way!
