Media Intern in South East Ireland

Type:
Short term
Location:
Waterford, Ireland

Duration:
3-6 months, 6-12 months

Do you have a passion for social media, websites and making videos? Do you want to use your gifts to see others come to Jesus? Would you be willing to work and learn as part of a team in an outward looking church plant?

The church plant in Ferrybank, Waterford City, began in 2010 and seeks to grow by sharing our life and the gospel with others in the community and pursuing further opportunities with children's and youth ministry. Visit the Ferrybank Christian Church website to find out more about the church.

We are a small church with a big heart and are currently seeking God for renewal and a new chapter in reaching out. A key way of doing this is in raising our profile and also communicating the gospel in a way that connects with those who don’t know Jesus.

As a media intern you would focus on developing our social media and website as well as making videos and podcasts.  All of this would help us reach out to our community.

Key qualities include being flexible, as well as patient in living and working in a new environment as part of a team. Above all, you'll be willing to learn. We'll work to adapt that learning to you and support your learning with an assigned supervisor/mentor.

This internship:

  • Would be done alongside helping with the church plant in other areas such as relational evangelism, youth or children’s work, music etc.
  • Could be done part-time alongside paid employment (outside of ECM).
  • Would also give opportunities to use these skills to help recruit people into work with ECM in Ireland.

This is a great opportunity to discover your gifting and find your place within God's global mission! Get in contact with us for more information.
